2. We connect you with a local company

   Calls and requests go to an independent egress window or foundation cutting contractor that serves the Fargo-Moorhead area.

3. The company handles the job

   They quote, schedule and do the work. Pricing, warranties and terms come from them directly.

What we are and aren't

Fargo Egress Windows is a referral service, not a contractor. We don't send crews or employ technicians, and we don't set prices. Using the site is free for homeowners.

In North Dakota, the Secretary of State licenses contractors, and a license is required when a job's value exceeds $4,000. In Minnesota, contractors who work directly for homeowners in more than one special skill need a residential contractor license from the Department of Labor and Industry. Egress windows usually need a city building permit too. Ask for the license number, who will pull the permit, and a written quote that spells out the window, the well, the cover and what's warrantied.
